                                                      Personal Watercraft

1. PWC being kept at the club are only allowed by permission of the Board of Directors 
2. PWC mooring privileges are renewable every year.  Renewal procedures are outlined in the club’s  PWC registration policy. 
3. There is to be no fueling of PWC within Spinnaker Cove grounds. 
4. The docking, mooring, and use of all PWC are governed by the Club’s PWC registration  policy.

           PWC Slip & Mooring Application Regulations & Rules

·          Applications must be fully completed and sent in along with payment for a PWC Space, and a copy of the current PWC registration. 

·         PWC Slips and Moorings Applications will be recorded in the order that they are received each season.

·         Available PWC Spaces will then be assigned by the Board of Directors each year based on the following order:

     1.       Returning SCYC Slip Owners who are applying for a PWC space for the current season and who had a PWC space the previous season.

     2.       SCYC Slip Owners who are applying for a PWC space for the current season who did not have a PWC space the previous season.

     3.       SCYC Slip Owners who are applying for a second PWC space for the current season and who had at least one PWC space the previous season.

     4.       SCYC Slip Renters who are applying for a PWC space for the current season and who had a PWC space the previous season.

     5.       SCYC Renters who are applying for a PWC space for the current season and who did not have a PWC space the previous season.

• If there are not enough PWC Spaces to satisfy Owner’s applications, a waiting list will be formed based on the order that fully completed applications were received. When a PWC Space opens up, the next name on the waiting list will get the space.

• If there are not enough PWC Spaces for NEW renter applications, a drawing will be held to assign available spaces to new renters and a renter waiting list will be formed.  When a space opens up, it will be assigned to the next qualified person on the waiting list.

• Owners who are renting their slip will not have access to a PWC Space.

• PWC Spaces are not available to friends and extended family members of owners and renters.

·       PWC owners assume all responsibility associated with the mooring and operation of their PWC and will be solely liable for all damages.

·         No one can make their own PWC Space by adding onto any areas or placing a mooring into the water.

 NOTICE: To those who are renting a slip at SCYC for the 2008 season, you are required to fill out a Slip Lease Application and submit it to the Slip Rental Manager for the club.

To those owners and/or renters who have a Personal Watercraft (also known as a Jet Ski), you must apply for a mooring slot for the unit as outlined above, and are required to fill out a Jet Ski Registration Form and submit it to the Jet Ski Manager.

NOTE: Jet Ski renewal or new applications MUST BE IN BY May 15th. Space is very limited!!!  If not renewed by May 15, 2008, slots will be given to next person on the waiting list per Jet Ski regulations listed above.
